There is something about your blog that is beautiful and this is not just the photographs that you take. The very idea of it and the link that you two true friends share is awe inspiring and a 'how to' to all those ditant friendships out there. xx :)
@Bella: Pro? Us? No, not at all! We are just two amateur photographers who like to capture images of everyday "happiness". ♥ Thanks very much for your comment, though!
@Everyone: Thanks for stopping by and for the kind comments, so much appreciated! We have both been quite busy lately, but will visit you all sooner or later, as promised.
I would have interpreted the theme "My Town" a little differently because Houston is not a very pretty place, and as candlelight is more flattering to an aging woman than the harsh light of day, I think Houston is at her best at night. The downtown skyline on a late-night drive in from the airport is impressive and is my favorite view of the city.
You are both very fortunate to live in such beautiful surroundings. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely, just lovely, as usual. Makes me itch to get on a plane and just go where you two are. As a "Happy Snapper" as well, I welcome your thoughts on the recent photos I shot over the weekend at the zoo, here: http://dhilabackstrom.blogspot.com/2010/08/minnesota-zoo.html
Wow these pictures are amazing along with this blog I have just made a blog... It's not very good but check it out if you want www.lifeetc-blog.blogspot.com
Nice blog. I need help getting publicity and I hope you would give me some tips because I need help starting my band. My blog is: http://flamingmail.blogspot.com
A photography collaboration project by two friends far apart, a Finn in her native Finland and an Italian expat living in Scotland, sharing glimpses of their life by a previously chosen theme.
We will post our shots (Jaana on the left, Kia on the right) each Sunday, without discussing about them beforehand, wanting our own individual views and interpretations to be a surprise in hopes to learn a thing or two about each other, about how we see the world.
We'd also love to hear how the themes inspire you. How would you have interpreted them?
