Hello everyone, time to reveal last week’s mystery theme. It was indeed “train”, as many of you have guessed. We want to thank you all for sharing your ideas about the theme. Your creativity amazed us and we are very excited to do mystery themes more often from now on. :)
For those of you who started following us only recently, you can have a peek at our previous mystery themes’ entries HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.
Thank you all for stopping by, have a happy (snappy) day!

I only recently started following your blog and already I love it.

I really like the mushroom picture. Something about macro shots really appeals to me.

Beautiful photos, but what is the correlation between the two shots?

He ate some magic mushrooms
dreamed dreary dreams
thought he was the ocean itself
felt big feel free
felt like he was all
under that tree he loafed
and liked
and loved the wind
he loved the wind from the sea
it was him, it was us
it just was

I've stumbled upon a happy find! What a great idea and as a Scot who\s been to Finland, I was just wondering where they're taken - I thought I recognised the Scottish town as Dunbar or there abouts but it isn't! Anyway, love the idea!

Jaana and Kia said...

@Marie Christine: We're looking forward to seeing you and your friend's photo project, if you ever decide to start one!

@Francesca: The correlation between the photos is the theme: Jaana's photo was shot low, Kia's is of low tide. :)

@Everyone: Thank you so much for your input! Your comments and support mean a lot to us!

Jaana and Kia said...

@homensdopantano: What a lovely poem that 'connects' our two very different photos together.

@we3: Kia's photo of the boats was taken in Pennan, a small village in Aberdeenshire.

@we3 & cherie from Jaana: How nice to hear that someone has actually been to our small country. :)

I too like you choice of photographs. Great definition!
You have positioned the subject matter in the correct rule of thirds and make the viewer invision what is happening in the story byline.
